Anchors Blockade Zone:Prologue is a free action game for PC coming from developer Welike. It is an isometric survival horror shooter inspired by Lovecraftian lore, particularly, that of the ancient god, Cthulhu. In it, players must find a way to survive in a world that is now overrun by demonic creatures.

Similar to ZERO Sievert or Project Zomboid, Anchors Blockade Zone:Prologue boasts a large map to explore filled with all kinds of dangers at every turn. As its name suggests, this is the prologue version that serves as a preview for the full Anchors: Blockade Zone game coming soon.

Anchors Blockade Zone:Prologue takes place in a post-apocalyptic world wherein you are a special agent tasked with entering dangerous zones to investigate strange occurrences involving monstrous creatures. However, you will be left to your own devices once you enter, and you must a way to survive while inside and complete various objects of your mission and deal with whomever or whatever comes your way.

Being a soldier, you have access to a large cache of weapons to defend yourself against threats ranging from handguns to assault rifles, and even rocket launchers. Each one can also be customized with attachments to increase their effectiveness. You also have access to all kinds of protective gear like armor vests and helmets to help reduce damage coming from enemies.

You will be collecting all kinds of items during your runs, and you will need to come back safely to the base to be able to deposit them in your safe, so you can carry them on your next run. Now, being a game originally developed natively in the Chinese language, there is still a lot of untranslated text which does break the experience quite a bit.

Atmospheric and thrilling
